This is a multi-platform Collins Dictionary client, supports for Desktop(Windows/Linux/MacOS) and Android.

For Linux and MacOS, please compile for yourself.

Get it on F-Droid

UI is built on Jetbrains Compose.

Warning: This program gets word definitions by parsing Collins Online Dictionary website. There is no license from Collins organization. This repository is for learning purposes only. Commercial use is prohibited.

    It would be nice if it can be added to the official F-Droid repo. It would assist in getting more visibility on this app as well.

    This is the inclusion policy that must be met to be able to submit. More info about submitting can be found here.

    Here is the issue tracker to request your package to be available on F-Droid. After submitting, they can assist on what is needed to be done (if anything) to get it on F-Droid.

  • Word of the day or random word button.

    Word of the day or random word button.

    • It would be great if the home screen has a "shuffle" or random word button, this is good for people trying to build their vocabulary for example.
    • It can also be made into a widget showing some random word after set period of time. Best : )
