I have a lot transactions (just long list). Collapse one month and then try to scroll down. If you collapse more months (>8) app crashes 'faster'. Database

Application worked great for months. Suddenly stopped connecting to Google Drive yesterday. After clearing the app data and selecting my gmail account, it can't get past the "Enable Backup" screen. I cleared the data again and this time selected to Add Account > Existing. Entering my email and password manually, but keep getting "Couldn't sign in. There was a problem accessing Google servers. Please try again later.". I can sign in to Google Drive via the web, so I know the emails and password are correct. I even tried deleting my gmail account on the phone (Setting > Accounts) and re-creating it, but that didn't work. Also, on a side note it would be great to have an import option to allow you to import the "Your data" export into a new profile since I may have lost my backup if I can't get this to reconnect to Google Drive. Any help would be very much appreciated.

I suggest full redesign of accounts screen. Replace list and screen with additional data by cards with all information and actions. Of cource, unnesessary screen must be removed (with account details like averages,sum,include in totals and etc.). This is it: From left upper to right bottom corner: Account name, if very long - use white shadow with '...' to cut it. Options button contains menu with Edit and Delete items. Current sum at account. All Income, all expence; coloured. Can be replaced by averages (but it is not good). Last usage (count of usages can be added in brackets). Icon "include in totals", icon "show in selection"; if not checked in options - icon are hidden. Cards are very perspective solution. UPD:

I found that in "Reports" the sum of all the categories is not always 100%. Sometimes is above and sometimes is under 100%. Can you take a look to this, please? :)

P.S: by the way, congrats for you app! for me it's the best one under its category!

It would be very awesome if the tags could be ordered by the usage, so in a normal case i would be much faster (what is very important for a finance manager) to create a transaction. In a larger list its difficult to find the tags i want.

This solves the issue when paying for a full table of diners on credit card, and accepting cash from them (into a cash account). Currently, if you want 1) for the actual billed amount to be in financius for later reconciliation, and 2) to see reports properly reflect expenses -- there does not seem to be a way to do that.

This could be solved by allowing refunds to be expressed as negative expenses. The positive cash amount could then be added to the cash account with a custom category that we can ignore from reports. Other software like quicken had allowed negative expenses in the past fwiw

This summarizes issue #72 in a nice check list, so that it is easier to follow the progress.

Add/Edit a transaction views

• [ ] Remove the Discard button and instead use something more consistent with other apps and the system such as:

• [ ] Add a border to the color squares.
• [ ] Hide optional fields and/or details per default, and show them when the user requests it. (That could be implemented with a checkbox in the action bar's overflow menu.)
• [ ] Remove the month in the color squares for transactions.

Categories views

• [ ] Use a layout similar to DashClock's (for more details, see #72, second image).
• [ ] Use Categories instead of Categories report, on the summary page (not the full view).
• [ ] Remove the percent sign (%) on the categories report full view.

The Categories screen would probably benefit from having tabs (in order to separate incomes from expenses) and a card interface, as shown here:

As for the Category details screen, here's an interface proposal for it:

The different tabs separate all its subcategories, and the screen has a details card plus history cards similar to those described on issue #13.

In transaction section there are only expenses calculated.

What I think will make more sense or is better is to calculate pending expenses, too.

It also would be nice if focus is not just on expenses. Better to show both expenses and incomes in those headers (Pending, December....).

I suggest you that it will be better if you move 3 dots settings menu on the right-top to be on the left hiding-pane.

I think it will be clean and lovely. Wish you will consider this.

The image that represent my idea.

I wiped data and add 4 new transactions without changing dates (left image), now there are 4 elements with id's 1-4 and 2 different timestamps (why?). Then I changed time to 0:00 GMT at all ofthem and element order was broken. 2 ways: change 4 last digits of timestamp to 0 if record was edited or remove milliseconds from timestamp. Maybe one timestamp field can be dropped from table?

I am still the user of your app. Because there is not a single alternative for you app which can fulfill my exact needs which your app did.

Will you be updating the app? If not, can I use your app code and get the in depth code and re-code it and make my own app?

I used Samsung SmartSwitch to backup/restore my Galaxy S8. When opening Finanious and try to Log In, there is a 503 error. I cant login.

Any ideas?
