Overview

OkSSE

OkSSE is an client for Server Sent events protocol written in Kotlin Multiplatform. The implementation is written according to W3C Recommendation 03 February 2015) specification.

OkSSE is an SSE client that's modern, efficient and provides an easy to use API.

Coming soon - the dependency

R8 / Proguard

OkSse doesn't require adding any extra rules for R8 / proguard.

If you use Proguard, you may need to add rules for Coroutines, OkHttp and Okio.

Native

what is the aim?

First of all, you have a nasty name conflict with the "real" oksse: https://github.com/heremaps/oksse

And second, you seem to be building an SSE library on top of okhttp, which already covers SSE, so why does this project exist? Wouldn't it be smarter to contribute to okhttp?
