About The Project
This repository hosts an example application to use the Dyte Mobile SDK for Kotlin, and showcases the various functionality that is possible with the SDK. For more information, view the documentation for our Android SDK here
This app interacts with the Dyte Rest API using the sample app backend, which can be found here.

Getting Started
To get a local copy up and running follow these simple steps.
Prerequisites
- Android Studio (With Kotlin Plugin)
Installation
- Clone the repo
git clone [email protected]:dyte-in/kotlin-sample-app.git
- Open the project in Android Studio.
- Click the build/run button to run the app in an emulator/physical device
Usage
The app shows how the Kotlin SDK can be used to change UI components and control different aspects of a meeting, as well as listen for meeting events. The different use cases shown in the app are:
