Introduction
Shortens url using google shortener service.
How to use
-
Update Google Api Key in your string.xml
<string name="google_api_key">my-google-api-key</string>
Using TinyUrl Service
UrlShortener.shortenUrlByTinyUrl("http://www.google.com")
.subscribeOn(Schedulers.newThread())
.observeOn(AndroidSchedulers.mainThread())
.subscribe(r -> {
Log.v(TAG, "[onCreate] shortenUrlByTinyUrl " + r);
}, Throwable::printStackTrace);
Using Google Shortener Service (Requires API Key)
UrlShortener.shortenUrlByGoogle(this, "http://www.google.com")
.subscribeOn(Schedulers.newThread())
.observeOn(AndroidSchedulers.mainThread())

(Optional) enable logging
