Volta

Additional actions on volume buttons.

Get it on F-Droid

Tiny app to add several actions to volume buttons.

Actions:

  • Long Volume Up - next track
  • Long Volume Down - previous track
  • Double Volume Up - flashlight

Does NOT work when the screen is fully off. For a better user experience use Key Mapper.

Permissions

  • ACCESSIBILITY - get volume key events
  • VIBRATE - notify on action success
  • FLASHLIGHT - toggle flashlight

    🐞From time to time daemon dies with message "Accessibility service is unavailable". Restarting Volta in Accessibility Settings fix this, but it has a small chance that volume buttons will misclick or make double click.
